easter brunch
April 25, 2011 Easter is over, it's true. But I cannot hold back the images from this weekend.

You might remember these Easter cards I designed while making the invitation for this event. This Easter brunch was a fun event full of bold color and fresh flowers. No pastels allowed. The theme was designed around three bold colors, accented with simple details like book paper and vintage fabric.
On the menu were quiche, vanilla bean scones, fruit kabobs, a yogurt bar, and delicious citrus mimosas. A favorite detail of the event was the Easter baskets. The adorable teal fruit crates were the brilliant idea found here, by Beka and Kimberly of Styled. Another lovely detail were the table centerpieces made from ceramic egg crates with dyed eggs as flower vases. Overall a fun morning celebration, full of color and yummy eats. I've also included the delicious recipes below, in case this inspires you to host a summer brunch!
Recipes: Fruit kabobs // vanilla bean scones // chicken spinach quiche // bacon & mushroom quiche //
