antique shopping

Now I've offically joined the blogging community (by sharing what I picked up antique shopping).

Wednesday my husband took me to antique stores that were so entertaining. Touching all the trinkets makes the hands smell funny *mentally noted for the future*. But I got this great airmail stationery and an orange petal bowl for $5!

Best of all is this great toolbox for my small tool collection. WAY better than buying a (new) dinky plastic one. The unidentified swirly metal object on the right—no clue, but I think it will make great wall decor in my office.

That is my antique treasure collection for today. I'm sure this will somehow make your weekend much better. *winky wink*

These are great finds. Will you share what becomes of them too?

That's funny, but true. I dress vintage often. One of the perks of doing so is the gloves. They keep my hands clean and free of funny smells. :)

I love that air mail stationery you found. I'm a sucker for red, white and blue.
