Launched Jan 2010, this blog is a personal journal about intentional ways I am trying to live a lovely life. Crafting a lovely home, using DIY to be thrifty and unique, eating yummy foods, investing in people, and caring about things that matter (and occasionally things that don't). My posts catalog my mismatched style of rustic feminine, soft and simple with a splash of vintage quirky—along with posting about people or projects that inspire me as well. Currently working as a freelance designer, blog author, and non-profit volunteer, I am pursing a career goal of becoming a photo & environment stylist. Slowly working on projects that refine my style and experience, hoping to one day be sought after as a stylist. I make my home in St. Louis and my days are spent making, finding and combining pretty things. I want to find value in the small, mundane and delicate, despite living in a world full of all things superficial and negative. I believe that choices in life have eternal weight. I want to be intentional and strive to expand the good & lovely in this world.
